2. Leave the inner wooden stopper in place — it stops the liquid from spilling.
3. Hang the bottle in the car so it does not rest against the dashboard or trim.
4. Turn the bottle upside down for one second to soak the cap. Repeat a few times when new, then whenever the scent fades.
